Katrina Relief Project

August 29, 2005

There was an eerie calm after the storm and as I looked around the neighborhood that I had known all my life, I realized that hurricane Katrina had erased it… our home, our neighborhood, our town. The history told by the antebellum homes, small towns, and businesses for over 100 miles was gone but not the spirit of the people. That is what inspired me to make this CD and donate the proceeds to the Southeast Mississippi Chapter of the American Red Cross.
